How useful is kefir for the diet?
This drink contains healthy milk proteins that are easily digested. In addition, kefir contains vitamins A, C, PP, H, group B, fats and carbohydrates, natural sugars, valuable elements - chlorine, calcium, potassium, selenium, fluorine, cobalt, sulfur, iodine, zinc, phosphorus, iron, molybdenum, copper, magnesium and acids (fatty and organic). The composition is quite impressive - it immediately becomes clear that the drink is really healthy.
But in addition to these valuable substances, kefir contains lactic acid and beneficial bacteria. They help with digestive disorders, prevent the development of fermentation and decomposition processes in the stomach, remove harmful substances and restore the microflora of the digestive tract. That is, kefir has a huge positive effect on the digestive system. And this is very important for weight loss and for the health of the body as a whole.
What else is this product useful for? It facilitates the work of the heart because it is quickly and easily absorbed, strengthens nails and teeth, improves hair condition, soothes (which is especially valuable for long-term stress), relieves chronic fatigue, helps treat kidney disease, anemia, eczema.
As for weight loss, kefir is not included in the diet in vain. The drink not only improves the process of digestion and removes deposits of harmful substances in the intestines, but also removes excess fluid, but improves metabolism and helps you not feel hungry. Menu with kefir diet: three options
Of course, the menu with the kefir diet is very diverse. But we offer three popular and not too hungry options. In any case, for the diet it is better to choose a drink with a fat content of 2, 5%. Kefir with a low fat content is not so useful and after consuming you will starve faster, and 3. 2% of the drink will make it harder to lose weight, since it is low in fat.
Kefir-buckwheat diet is scheduled for 4-5 days. It is very monotonous, but you can significantly lose weight and you will not have to starve without this diet. You can eat only buckwheat, vegetables, fruits, honey, homemade yogurts, dried fruits and herbs, and you can drink water and kefir. You have to steam a glass of buckwheat in the evening with boiling water, and in the morning squeeze the water and leave the porridge, washed with kefir. A liter of drink per day is allowed.
Here is the diet menu:
- in the morning: buckwheat with kefir, apple;
- snack: dried fruit;
- lunch: buckwheat, vegetable salad and kefir;
- afternoon snack: yogurt with herbs;
- dinner: salad, buckwheat and kefir with cinnamon and honey.

The kefir-fruit diet is designed for a maximum of three days. You can eat any fruits and vegetables, and you can also drink two liters of kefir a day. The menu doesn’t seem to be very varied, but if you’re creative with the menu, you can prepare many interesting dishes.
Here is an example of a diet menu:
- breakfast: cucumber and tomato salad, paprika, kefir;
- snack: fruit salad (for example, apples, oranges, bananas);
- lunch: vegetable soup, carrot or cabbage cutlets, kefir;
- afternoon snack: baked apples;
- in the evening: vegetable stew, kefir and fruit cocktail.
The menu is not at all hungry or boring as in the first diet, but if you want variety, choose the following option.
The diet is calculated for three weeks. You can eat any food, except sugar, potatoes, pastries. You can only eat whole grain bread, no more than two slices a day. Dairy products should be low in fat, meat and fish should be lean. You should drink a liter of kefir a day, and another 500 ml can be water, green tea or sugar-free compotes, of course. The salt should be cut. Eat six times a day, preferably at the same time.
Here is a rough diet menu:
- in the morning: oatmeal with banana, kefir with cinnamon;
- snack: nuts or fruits;
- lunch: soup, bread, chicken or fish, salad, compote or green tea;
- afternoon snack: cottage cheese with fruit;
- dinner: scrambled eggs or vegetable casserole, kefir.
You can compile the menu at your discretion, the main thing is to remember the rules of the diet. Losing weight on a three-week diet is easy, because the feeling of hunger will not bother you at all.
Recipes for health and beauty
What can be prepared from this product? Various pastries, of course. But it is not suitable for diet. You can also prepare soups, sauces, jellies and cocktails with kefir. These dishes are really dietary. So try recipes for simple kefir dishes for health and a slim figure.
Okroshka with kefir
Cook the potatoes in uniforms (three pieces) and cut them into cubes. Cut two fresh cucumbers and three boiled eggs into cubes. Grate five radishes, chop the green onions. Mix everything and pour in kefir and mineral water (proportions to taste). Sprinkle with dill and salt.
Soak a tablespoon of gelatin in half a glass of water. When it swells, heat to dissolve the gelatin. Then cool. Add half a liter of low-fat kefir, a third of a cup of sour cream (you must take the product with the lowest fat content), the same amount of sugar and vanilla. Whisk everything well for four minutes. Pour into bowls and refrigerate. Of course, such jelly should not be eaten every day, after all, it contains sugar and sour cream. But once a week you can pamper yourself.
Grate three sweet apples on a fine grater, pour 400 ml of low-fat kefir. Whisk everything well. Then add cinnamon and honey to taste and whisk again. Recipes for cocktails can be different, because not only fruits can be added to kefir, but also berries (strawberries, blueberries, blueberries, raspberries), as well as vegetables (cucumbers, peppers) and herbs.
Recipes for dishes with kefir can also be changed, the main thing is to choose healthy and low-fat dishes. As for the diet on this product, it is worth trying if there is no gastritis or ulcer (this is a contraindication to diet).
